Following a successful and unique approach to the inaugural News24 Forward Faster Invitational Sevens tournament in 2023, the Forward Foundation is excited to announce the second tournament scheduled for Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November.
Eight community rugby teams will have the opportunity to test their mettle against some of the very best on the HSBC SVNS Series circuit.
This two-day extravaganza promises to keep the entire family entertained with activities and entertainment set to keep young and old engaged while enjoying non-stop exciting 7s rugby.
The News24 Forward Faster Invitational Sevens will take place at the iconic Markötter Sports Grounds in Stellenbosch. The second edition will feature a Heineken beer tent, a selection of food-stall options and a children’s section with face painting, spot prizes, and so much more.
Fans can look forward to seeing players from the men’s and women’s South African national 7s side in action as they pit themselves against the raw talent that the sevens community in Western Cape has to offer.
In partnership with the headline sponsor, News24, the Forward Foundation will offer a 12-month www.news24.com subscription at a reduced rate of R25 per month.
