The Oude Werf Hotel, located in the heart of Stellenbosch, invites locals to slow down, settle in and soak up the timeless pairing of soulful jazz and slow, considered dining tomorrow evening (Friday 27 June).

With the fireplace crackling, glasses clinking and that unmistakable energy of something special in the air, guests will ease into an evening that celebrates flavour, music and mood.

From 18:00 to 21:00 guests will be serenaded by the smooth, expressive sound of Richard Ceasar, a standout on Cape Town’s jazz scene. He plays the way winter tastes: warm, rich and full of nuance. His sound is rooted in jazz, coloured with soul, Cape rhythm and easy elegance, flowing effortlessly through the space and setting the perfect tone.

Dinner will be served from 18:30 and features four carefully-curated courses, from buttery trout and truffled cauliflower to a sweet finale of tarte tatin and salted caramel. Each dish is paired with wines from Le Grand Domaine, whose Grand Vin de Stellenbosch range brings added depth to the experience.

Tickets cost R525 per person and booking is essential as seats are limited.
