St Idas Primary School recently launched its Anti-Bullying Awareness Campaign with an invigorating outdoor adventure hike. The main aim of this initiative is to empower students to voice their concerns and break the damaging and widespread cycle of bullying. The hike emphasised educating participants about the various forms of bullying and aimed to raise awareness not only within the school, but also at home and in the broader community. Participants received essential information about whom to contact for support and guidance in identifying and tackling bullying situations. This memorable journey was expertly led by Ubuntu Hiking, an NPO renowned for its unique blend of entertaining activities, environmental education and a profound appreciation of the significance of bullying awareness.
