Thanks to The TK Foundation, Bergzicht Training and Development has given six of its Food Service Assistant graduates the chance to further their education. It funded the 12-month Cathsseta accredited Professional Cookery Learnership, which will be undertaken by Olwethu Masanga, Kamvelihwe Nqukwana, Mbalentle Tyopo, Jaydeen Greeff, Avuyile Yantolo and Lunathi Qhayi. “At the TK Foundation we want to help youth become independent and find and realise their dreams,” said Heather Cooper of The TK Foundation. “The learnership helps these talented youth work towards self-leadership, developing independent and self-sufficient youth in South Africa. The graduates will do their practical workplace training with top industry partners.”
