Rorisang Ntshokolwana, a Grade 9 learner at Calling Academy in Stellenbosch, will travel to Oxford University with two other academy learners in August. The school received an invitation from the Oxford Day Academy in the USA and Oxford University to be part of a learning methods enrichment programme. Rorisang, a resident of Kayamandi, looks forward to broadening his horizons with this unique opportunity. The Executive Mayor of Stellenbosch, Gesie van Deventer, made a contribution to Rorisang’s travelling costs from the Mayoral Fund.
