Prochorus Community Development, an NPO dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in Stellenbosch, has announced a significant partnership with the Ipsos Foundation, charitable arm of Ipsos, a global leader in market research and consulting services.
The collaboration adds momentum to the local organisation’s journey and commitment to making a positive impact on the communities it serves.
The Ipsos Foundation has recognised the vital work being done by Prochorus Community Development and has chosen to support it in its mission to create a more equitable and inclusive society. This support will help the NPO expand its early childhood development reach to even more individuals and families in Khayamandi and Cloetesville.
Prochorus Community Development has been serving locals since its establishment in 1996. “Our mission is to empower and uplift individuals and families by providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive,” a statement from the NPO reads.
“Through various initiatives, including education, skills development, youth development and poverty alleviation we have already made significant strides in enhancing the quality of life for many. The Ipsos Foundation shares our commitment to social responsibility and community betterment.”
The generous financial support of the foundation will enable Prochorus Community Development to expand its reach and extend its services to more underserved families, enhance its existing programmes by ensuring that it remains effective and responsive to the community’s evolving needs, innovate and grow thanks to additional resources to explore new initiatives and innovative solutions to address emerging challenges faced by communities, and increase impact, as well as foster positive change and transformation in the lives of those whom it supports.
“At Prochorus Community Development we believe in the power of partnerships and we are excited to join forces with the Ipsos Foundation to create lasting change in our community. Together, we will work towards a brighter, more inclusive future for all,” the statement reads.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Ipsos Foundation for their generous support and belief in our mission. This partnership exemplifies the positive change that can occur when organisations come together to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
