Cutting the ribbon on a bright new convenient shopping experience at KwikSpar Paradyskloof (from left) are Alec Dunlop (ROM Spar, Western Cape), Gerald Dube (senior ROM Spar Western Cape), Nishelle Sanjivygan (senior development manager, Spar Western Cape), Nick Generakis (Spar retailer), Aqeehl Najaar (retail operation director, Spar Western Cape), Roy Keyter (new co-owner, KwikSpar Paradyskloof), Rachele Truter (manager, KwikSpar Paradyskloof), Mike Vosloo, (new co-owner, KwikSpar Paradyskloof), Wahieb Joseph (development manager, Spar Western Cape), Jaco Truter and Gregg Franz.

The new owners of KwikSpar Paradyskloof have re-launched the conveniently placed store at the entrance to the established Stellenbosch suburb sporting a brand new face.

“We worked with a really good shell,” said new co-owner Mike Vosloo.

The store was groundbreaking when it opened in 2014, pushing boundaries as far as the environmental impact of the store, and reducing energy consumption right from the onset.

Special attention was given to energy efficiency in all the designs. Energy-efficient lighting and materials with the minimum carbon footprint were used. Refrigeration formed an integral part of the cold chain.

Vosloo and his partners have refreshed the store, so to speak, changing layout and adding to the offering of key departments. More space between shelving, which has literally changed direction, and a brand-new till system offer loyal customers, whether from the neighbourhood or “on the goers”, a whole new, very attractive, convenient shopping experience.

As a sign declares, it’s fresh, friendly and fabulous at the “new” KwikSpar Paradyskloof.
