In last week’s edition in the article “Muni gets 14 in a row” Eikestadnuus reported that the Stellenbosch Municipality received 14 clean audits in a row. This is, however, not accurate as unqualified audits do not mean clean audits. The municipality has over the last 14 years received 14 unqualified audits, which include two clean audits over the past two years. Eikestadnuus apologises for any misinterpretation.
