A business robbery occurred at the Liquor King, Kayamandi Mall, George Blake Street, Plankenbrug on 22 January at 12:48 when three armed men entered the building and demanded cash.
According to Capt Natalie Martin, police spokesperson the complainant was on duty while the staff was busy packing liquor at the back of the store. “Four unknown men of whom three were armed with firearms entered through an open door. The suspects instructed the victims to open the tills and to lie down on the floor.”
Martin says the suspects took cash and two cellphones.
