Parents and guardians of children who will enter Grade R, 1 and 8 in have until Tuesday 15 April to ensure their place in a school next year.
The provincial education department urges parents to apply before the on-time admissions window for the 2026 academic year closes. They can do so online, at their district office or at one of the department’s pop-up admissions sites for in-person assistance.
“We encourage parents to bring all the necessary supporting documentation with them when seeking assistance in person,” the department said.
