Stellenbosch: The sixth annual “Walk with Disability” will return to the town’s streets, with registration at 08:00 and the walk from the Stellenbosch Town Hall at 09:00. It is expected to draw approximately 400 participants – people with disabilities, allies, community members and prominent figures. It is organised by the Stellenbosch Disability Network (SDN) in partnership with Stellenbosch Municipality and Stelkor Pharmacies. Stellenbosch: The Friends of Stellenbosch Mountain (FSM) holds its monthly hack in the Paradyskloof nature area for about three hours, starting at 07:00. The group meets at the Paradyskloof main gate. Help to keep the fynbos in good condition by taking down wattles, Port Jacksons and other invasive plants. Get hands-on experience while you enjoy the beauty of nature. Take along a mug and snacks; FSM will provide the necessary tools and equipment. Stellenbosch: The Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience, fuelled by Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages, will be held with the start and finish at Coetzenburg Field. The 11th edition of the two-day stage race will see riders tackle the marathon or half-marathon race. Stellenbosch: The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) has opened the dress rehearsal for the sold-out annual tribute concert to the late philanthropist Huberte Rupert to the public. The rehearsal of Beethoven’s Fifth, featuring CPO principal guest conductor Bernhard Gueller and piano virtuso Qden Blaauw, will be held at the Endler Hall at 16:00.
