Stellenbosch: Mathys Roets bring hulde aan Leonard Cohen en Koos Kombuis met sy konsert Cohen en Koos, wat om 20:15 in die Drostdy-teater te sien is. Roets het sy loopbaan 30 jaar gelede amptelik met Du Plessis en Cohen se musiek begin. Met die vertoning Hy’s ons man het Roets die beroep van manwees ondersoek soos Koos en Cohen dit beskryf het. Faure: Vergenoegd Löw will celebrate the 2024 harvest with an evening of live local music, long tables on the lawn, farm-style fare and distinctive, terroir-specific wines from 18:00 to 22:00. The cost is R400 per person, which includes a glass of MCC on arrival, a three-course feast prepared by chef Drikus Brink and the Geuwels restaurant team, and live local music. Stellenbosch: The Western Cape Artists’ Society will host its annual art exhibition at the PJ Olivier Art Centre in Blom Road, with the exhibition opening tonight at 18:30 for 19:00. It runs until Friday 8 March. The exhibition will feature works by, among others, Stephen Quirke, Thys Cilliers, Katherine Ambrose, Coleen Pienaar and Karin Atherstone.

Stellenbosch: Die Cape Choral Academy nooi amateurmusikante en studente wat ’n snaarinstrument bespeel en gr. 6 en hoër gekwalifiseer het, na sy Sprankelsnare-strykerswerksessie. Die program, wat by die Stellenbosch-Welgelegen NG kerk gehou word, is spesifiek vir tjello en viool en word in twee sessies aangebied: 15:00 tot 18:00 Vrydag en 09:00 tot 12:00 Saterdag (1 en 2 Maart). Dit sluit af met ’n klein konsert om 12:30. Die werksessie se hooffokus is boogtegniek en die musiek is Danca-kamermusiek. Dit word deur Johanna Roos (viool) en Jessica Bailey (tjello) aangebied. The two-day showcase of farm living at its finest takes place under the ancient oaks that guard this historic estate. In addition, tractor rides, historic tours of the werf and the cellar, and of course grape stomping, await all wine enthusiasts.
