The 10th annual Halloween Forest Night Run, presented by Dirtopia, will be held at Muratie Wine Estate on Tuesday 31 October at 19:30. Participants are encouraged to wear a fun costume, mask or paint their faces as they take on the 5 km (hikers allowed) or 10 km run after sunset. Runners can choose if they want to be timed and Photosport will be present to capture the memories on the routes. All runners must wear a headlight. A face painter will be on standby before the run and when runners return to the finish they get a free cold drink, medal and will enjoy live music from local Stellenbosch band Akkedis. Muratie’s wine will also be on sale, as well as craft beer and meals. There will be great prizes up for grabs for the best dressed participants, plus prizes for top three men and women in each distance. There will also be a lucky draw.
