On Tuesday 15 April at around 13:00 police officers working at the Stellenbosch Magistrates’ Court went into the court cell to give food to the prisoners.
A police officer asked the prisoners to come and stand outside the cell and searched the cell. He saw a black Nike bag in one of the corners and asked the prisoners who the owner of the bag is. One of the prisoners put up his hand and identified himself as the owner of the bag.
Inside the bag was 30 zolle dagga in white plastic, 180 Mandrax tablets and four lighters. The prisoner was arrested for dealing in and the possession of Mandrax and dagga.
