All married women in South Africa seeking an exciting life transformation journey can now enter the Mrs South Africa 2023 pageant.
The competition is for #EveryWoman, providing them the chance to participate in its acclaimed female empowerment programme, extensive networking opportunities, fun-filled events and philanthropy work. It also provides women with extensive training and upskilling workshops to re-discover themselves, follow their dreams, and become powerful voices for change.
Mrs SA is proud to celebrate diversity and inclusivity, uplifting and showcasing real, authentic, bona fide women from all walks of life, CEO Joani Johnson emphasised. “No matter who you are or your background, we would like to encourage all women to take the leap and invest in themselves by entering Mrs SA,” she implored.
“In fact, a number of previous contestants have called this the MBA of life, giving women the chance of a lifetime to participate in a journey of bravery, sisterhood, networking, charity and growth. As per our theme #EveryWoman, we welcome all entrants, no matter your height or weight, educational background or whether you have any prior modelling experience. Current Mrs SA Palesa Matjekane noted pageant gave her the platform needed to reignite her passion and dreams. “I have actually participated in Mrs SA twice, in 2020 and 2022, as I realised I had so much more to learn and grow. I hope every married woman out there will consider taking this life changing step as I did, as it truly gives you the support and encouragement needed to help you to step out of your comfort zone and to pursue your goals with new vigour.”
To enter Mrs SA 2023, entrants must be aged 25 to 55, have a valid South African ID, passport and driver’s licence, be legally married with a marriage certificate from the Department of Home Affairs, and enter before or on Tuesday 31 January at 17:00.
