Drugs, a pistol and cash were among the loot Stellenbosch police found during a recent search.
Five suspects between the ages of 18 and 44 were scheduled to appear in the Magistrates’ Court this past Monday (29 July) following their arrest.
When Stellenbosch police officers executed a search warrant at an informal structure in Khayamandi on Thursday (25 July) they found the four suspects.
The police officers searched the men and the inner perimeter of the structure and recovered a consignment of drugs, cash and a pistol.
They detained the four men between the ages of 18 and 44 for the possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition and dealing in drugs.
