The FNB Varsity Cup 2025 is set to be bigger, bolder, and louder than ever with the introduction of its newest and most dynamic personality – Enzokuhle. With his striking pink mane, fearless energy and undeniable rockstar attitude, “Enzo” is the official mascot for both FNB Varsity Cup and Varsity Shield, bringing his infectious energy to every game and every crowd. Born from the spirit of passion and perseverance, Enzokuhle, whose name means “to do great things” in isiXhosa, embodies everything the competitions stand for. Always in the thick of the action, whether it is leading a stadium-wide air guitar solo or hyping up the crowd with his signature dance moves, “Enzo” will shake things up. To celebrate his arrival, FNB Varsity Cup launched Mascot Madness, a nationwide takeover designed to get fans buzzing ahead of the tournament, on Monday (3 February) when university mascots across the country stepped up for bold, attention-grabbing challenges in their local communities, calling on the students and supporters to get behind their teams in a way that’s never been done before.
