Local NGO Forward Foundation has partnered with Paul Roos Gymnasium, through its PRG Foundation, to execute projects in previously disadvantaged areas in the Western Cape.
The Forward Foundation is a non-profit organisation focused on community development and upliftment.
The PRG Foundation is the fundraising arm of Paul Roos Gymnasium, a prestigious boys’ high school in Stellenbosch. It supports various initiatives aimed at improving education and social development in the Western Cape.
Through financial and resource support from the PRG Foundation, the Forward Foundation will implement community and upliftment projects in rural areas in the province. These aim to improve residents’ quality of life, promote education and support local economic development.
“The partnership with the PRG Foundation is a significant step forward for the Forward Foundation in terms of its mission to uplift communities in the Western Cape,” said Le Roux Conradie, Managing Director of Forward Foundation. “Our programmes are designed to educate, enable, support, and inspire participants.
“We include physical education and sport in many of our projects and our mantra is the concept of a ‘healthy body, healthy mind’.
“With their support, we can make a greater impact on the lives of people in rural areas who are facing significant challenges.
“We believe that physical activity has a profound impact on the development of children as well as on the personal formation of teenagers and young adults.

The partnership between the Forward Foundation and the PRG Foundation is expected to impact rural communities in the Western Cape significantly. The Forward Foundation will identify and execute projects, while the PRG Foundation will provide financial and resource support.
