The fourth annual Franschhoek Chamber Music Festival, which runs until Sunday 16 February, will showcase all the musicians of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) in an intimate setting in which each shines as a soloist. The event also features brilliant violinist Miclen LaiPang as the guest artist appearing in seven of the 10 concerts, which culminate in a sold-out finale of the “Triple Concerto” by Beethoven. Other highlights of the festival include the “Gran Partita” by Mozart (Friday 14 February), the “Schumann Piano Quintet” in E flat (Friday 14 February) and the “String Quintet in C, D 956” by Schubert (Sunday 16 February). Tickets for all concerts are available online through Quicket. Pictured are the CPO musicians practising the “Gran Partita” by Mozart ahead of the festival.
