In an effort to prioritise personal safety and security within communities, a groundbreaking mobile application called Buzzer Community Safety & Security App has been developed.

The application incorporates several key features aimed at ensuring prompt response to emergencies and enabling the reporting of crimes, fires, and suspicious activities within a community. All alerts made through the app are directed straight to the nearest control room and responders.

She adds that one of the key advantages of Buzzer is its ability to foster collaboration among multiple responders from different organisations. “When an incident requires a coordinated response, responders can work together on the same platform, sharing updates, resources, and insights. The incident reporting function allows users to report various incidents promptly, leading to faster response times. Additionally, users have the flexibility to customise the alert radius, ensuring they stay informed about incidents happening in their desired area.
With multimedia support, users can include photos, videos, and voice notes when reporting incidents, enhancing the accuracy and clarity of the reported information. The app also enables broadcast messages to reach targeted communities, facilitating effective communication during critical situations.
