Somerset College recorded a 100% matric pass rate for 2018.
“Once again, the students have achieved an excellent set of results and maintained the 100% pass rate established by the first matric class in 1999,” according to Graham Sayer, the Executive Head. “These results are a reflection of the hard work and commitment of both the students and staff at Somerset College.”
A total of 72 candidates achieved 238 A symbols, of which 45 were results of 90% or above.
Georgia Faure was the top student and received a Commendable Achievement Award (five subjects in the top 5% and a level 7 for life orientation).
