English Premier League club Manchester City, in conjunction with Betway Ambassadors and Squad members, will host a soccer coaching clinic for 20 girls’ and 20 boys’ teams at the Ida’s Valley sports ground from 09:30 until 12:30 on Saturday (31 May).
Siphiwe Tshabalala, the Bafana Bafana player who scored the first goal in the 2010 World Cup, is one of the coaches who will share his knowledge and skills with the youth.
No Manchester City player will be in attendance, but other locals will take the players through their paces.
The programme includes technical and tactical understanding of the game, as well as moments in the game, small sided games, merchandise handover and an opportunity for photos.
