With the ever-increasing global demand and interest in healthier, more sustainable way of living The Plant Powered Show has fast become one of the most successful food-and-lifestyle events on the South African exhibition calendar and has, naturally, grown into three new shows.
This year, The Good Life Show will host four dynamic events under one roof, giving visitors access to all of them with one ticket: The Plant Powered Show, the Natural & Organic Show, the Free-from Show and SustainEx. The Cape Town version of the show will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June.
It is estimated that more than 15 000 consumers and trade professionals will attend this year’s shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg, featuring more than 200 exhibiters at each show and around 50 chef and mixologist demonstrations and expert talks.
The show is aimed at anyone with an interest in food, health, wellness and the environment, who is looking to live more consciously. It is also open to trade, including the retail, hospitality sectors and to local distributors and exporters, and will appeal to any industry that is looking for innovative, high-quality products.
“Consumers want to make sustainable choices, yet recent studies have shown they need more information to determine which products, brands, or advice to follow to make the best choices,” explained event producer Heidi Warricker.
“Many consumers also want to live more consciously and be more mindful of the animals we share the planet with, and at the same time, chefs and foodies want to be inspired to create delicious meals with exciting new ingredients. It is this food revolution that we are proud to be championing by bringing this show to all our visitors.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to hear directly from businesses that are making a difference and receive the guidance they need to make sustainable changes that align with their lifestyle.
