Ace It! is a study guide series that is a one-stop resource giving pupils all they need to “ace” their exams.

The guides were launched across the country last week. The creators, Shuter and Shooter have been in the text book industry for many years and understand curricula and what pupils need.

By having a good study guide to help them revise and understand the subject content, much of the examination anxiety felt by both parents and pupils can be reduced.

Parents now have the opportunity to equip their children with relevant study resources that:

• are easy to use

• are easy to understand, and

• will help their child excel.

Brand ambassador of Ace It! study guides, Mfunde Radebe understands the importance of education in a child’s life.

His perseverance and thirst for knowledge earned him a full bursary to attend Harvard University in the US.

At the series’ launch in Morningside, Durban last Tuesday, Radebe said: “I understand the importance education has in changing a life. These guides are what is needed for progress in education in South Africa, and provides an opportunity for pupils to succeed.”

Marketing director of Ace It! Warren Kliphuis said Shuter and Shooter have been in the education industry for a long time, and this is their opportunity to give back in a small way.

“The idea of Ace It! was born a while ago and was developed for many years,” Kliphuis told guests at the launch. “The final result is years of work. With the understanding that not everyone is the same, the aim was to develop something that would help all pupils. Ace It! study guide material embraces this and is designed to help pupils progress.

Parents and pupils can rest assured that Ace it! study guides are of a high quality and have been written and endorsed by subject and teaching experts.

“These study guides are designed to appeal to a wide range of pupils, whether auditory, visual or kinaesthetic, and focus on problem areas pupils traditionally struggle with,” said Kliphuis.

The study guides present information in various ways, taking into account different learning styles and skill levels.

The study guide series is now available for Grades 8 to 12, and focuses on all the major examinable subjects X accounting, Afrikaans FAL, business studies, economic and management sciences, English FAL, geography, history, Zulu FAL, life sciences, mathematics, natural sciences, physical sciences, technology and tourism.

The study guides are available in reputable book stores, or can be ordered on www.aceitstudyguides.co.za.
