In a major boost for South Africa’s endurance-sports scene, Stanley South Africa has been announced as the presenting sponsor for the 2025 K-Way MaxiRace Cape Winelands, which will be held this Saturday (8 March).
The K-Way MaxiRace Cape Winelands attracts elite and amateur athletes from around the world, challenging them with rugged terrain and breathtaking landscapes.

With its challenging terrain and spectacular scenery, the 2025 K-Way MaxiRace Cape Winelands promises to be a highlight on the global trail-running calendar.
Runners will embark on the gruelling 75 km race from Franschhoek at 05:00 and will cross the line at Laerskool Stellenbosch. There will also be shorter routes available, including the 45 km event for entry-level ultra trail runners and the 30 km race for trail runners looking to step up from 20 km events. Both these races will start at Muratie Wine Estate at 08:00 and 09:00, respectively, and finish at Laerskool Stellenbosch.
For those looking to tackle even shorter routes, the 20 km (15:00), 10 km and 5 km (both at 16:00) may be up your alley. All these races start and finish at Laerskool Stellenbosch. The fun 5 km event is designed for the entire family and boasts free entry, with donations to the Stellenbosch Trail Fund.
