After a triumphant national tour, SboNdaba Dance returns to the Western Cape with its acclaimed production In Search of Our Humanity.
This homecoming performance at the Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees offers local audiences a rare chance to experience the company’s powerful artistry and storytelling.
A vibrant celebration of culture, resilience, and the universal connections that bind us, In Search of Our Humanity takes audiences on an emotional journey through movement, music, and the electrifying energy of contemporary African dance.

“We are thrilled to bring this work back to the Western Cape,” says Sbonakaliso Ndaba, choreographer, artistic director and JOMBA!2025 legacy artist. “This performance speaks to our shared experiences and the deep humanity that unites us all.”
The performance will take place at Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof on Saturday 11 October at 14:00; Sunday 12 October at 16:30; and Tuesday 14 October at 16:00.
