The Stellenbosch Local Football Association’s Promotional Leagues have proven to be a resounding success during the 2022-’23 season, with both Stream A and B proving to be highly competitive. As the final matches came to a close it was evident that Idas Valley FC had taken the lead in Stream A with 38 points, while Barca Juniors had dominated Stream B with an incredible 44 points.
A total of 20 local teams participated in the energetic competition, with matches held throughout the season. The players, coaches and staff were all thrilled with how competitive the season had been, making it one of the most exciting seasons in recent years. As the matches played out the standings constantly changed, with different teams taking the lead in both streams.
However, in the final few games, it became clear Idas Valley FC and Barca Juniors were the teams to beat in their respective streams. Both teams have performed exceptionally well throughout the season, and it is no surprise that they have made it to the final.

It will be a clash of the titans as they fight to be crowned the champions of the Stellenbosch LFA Promotional League season 2022/23. Additionally, the winner will automatically qualify to participate in the Men’s Regional League playoffs soon, which is a step up in terms of competition. The players, coaches, and staff are all eagerly looking forward to the challenge.
