When Nelis Koegelenberg, principal of PJ Olivier Art Centre (left), asked young participants in the Imbali Visual Learning Programme (VLP) in Kylemore who had contributed to this very striking quilt far too many hands went up to fit all the participants in on the photograph! An exhibition of their rich body of artwork is on at Frank’s Heaven Crèche in Skoolstraat, Kylemore, and forms part of e’Bosch’s heritage festivities. Koegelenberg opened the exhibition for the seventh time, delivering a spirited speech praising the children for their work and how their art as a message of hope is beginning to change their neighbourhood.
