According to Sonja Adonis, Ms MWI International Elite 2023-’24, and a resident of Cloetesville, the winners were elected and crowned after shining in both their academic work at school and work done in their respective communities.

“The winners now have the opportunity, not to only represent themselves, but also their communities and the Rainbow Nation during the international competition set to be held in India next year.”

Andries du Preez, a former title holder of Mr MMI International and 2022-’23 and Mr MMI Gentleman of Distinction 2023-’24, was the event’s co-presenter. Involved in the pageant world for three decades, he believes the MWI and MMI international competition was special as it seeks more than just a pretty face.

“There are many competitions out there, but what sets MWI and MMI international apart is that they look much deeper than superficial beauty, the best body and personality; they are looking for a beautiful and caring heart and soul.”

Adonis thanked all sponsors for making the event possible.
