Bridge House learner Mila Roscherr represented Western Province at the South African GoJu Kai Championships at the University of the Free State from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 August. Mila travelled to Bloemfontein to compete in two team events, winning a gold medal for Bunkai and a bronze medal for team kata. Based on her individual performance at the 2023 European Championships, where she won gold, Mila has already been selected for the South African team that will compete at the world championships in Japan next year.
