Stellenbosch Saps in conjunction with local community organisations and NGOs is opening a Victim Support room at Kayamandi Police Station.
“We are currently looking for victim support volunteers to assist in the victim support room in Kayamandi. Volunteers will be rendering a service on a voluntary basis and will work under close supervision of Saps staff,” says police spokesperson, Captain Nathalie Martin. Applicants must have a passion to assist victims and must be available to render a service when called upon. A short interview will also be done with all applicants and successful applicants will receive proper training on what is expected of them.
