Excitement is in the air for the tyre industry in Stellenbosch. Kilotreads Stellenbosch is proud to announce that from Thursday 1 September the shop has been renamed Kilotreads Stellenbosch (Pty) Ltd t/a Hi-Q Stellenbosch or, in short, just Hi-Q Stellenbosch.
Since 1981, our address at 182 Bird Street has served as a landmark in Stellenbosch and will continue to do so.
We are sure all our clients have noticed the major upgrade process on the Kilotreads building that started in February this year. After 41 years our shareholders decided a facelift to the premises was required to ensure a client-friendly environment and customer satisfaction.
This has become a necessity to remain competitive in a very challenging industry.
The loyal support from our customers over the past few months while renovations were taking place did not go unnoticed. We invite everyone to come and have a cup of coffee and enjoy our new look store as Hi-Q Stellenbosch.
The same team, under the leadership of branch manager Philip Venter, will keep up their commitment to serving the Stellenbosch community with the same combined motto of “Our business keeps you moving” and “Hi-Q, the one you can trust”.
Not only have we upgraded the building, but we have also invested in new equipment and can now do tyre fitting up to 24”, and we have acquired a state-of-the-art hands-free wheel balancing machine. Our well-trained team is ready to assist our clients with their comprehensive tyre experience.
With the largest stock holding of tyres in Stellenbosch, we can supply you with any tyre brand almost immediately.
With the Hi-Q franchise we also have access to our own Goodyear-manufactured house brand known as Voyager. We also stock all other brands of tyres – for example, Goodyear, Sava, Dunlop, Continental, Bridgestone/Firestone, Michelin, Cooper, Apollo, BF Goodrich and a wide range of imported budget tyres. All these brands are available at competitive prices.
On the agricultural side of the business, we will continue our commitment to serving the farmers with our three dedicated service vehicles. Here we carry a full range of agricultural tyres and tubes that include Michelin, Apollo, MRL, BKT, Treadura, and so on. Our extremely experienced duo, Eugene Odendaal and the legendary Henry Mothibi, will assist you with professional advice and services at the shop or on your farm.
George Moore, our in-office senior sales executive, has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry and will gladly assist our clients with their tyre and associated needs.
Our dedicated team of 20 staff members is excited to serve the community of Stellenbosch, and they look forward to seeing a lot of new faces at Hi-Q Stellenbosch.
