On Friday (24 May) Stellenbosch mayor Gesie van Deventer visited the communities of Kylemore and Groendal to handover title deeds to residents. Since 2016 about 2 500 title deeds have been successfully transferred to residents across the Stellenbosch municipal area. Van Deventer expressed her gratitude to the Khaya Lam project of the Free Market Foundation for their ongoing support in expediting the process of transferring title deeds to residents. Their assistance has been invaluable in providing homeownership and economic empowerment to more residents.
