The full team of Fairtree DP World Cannondale is expected to be in action at the Banhoek Trailseeker mountain-biking race in Stellenbosch on Saturday (28 January).
This past weekend (Saturday 20 January), two team members, Damon Terblanche and Ziandro Jordaan, were in action in the 121 km Attakwas Extreme MTB Challenge in Oudtshoorn.
Both Terblache and Jordaan delivered phenomenal performances, finishing overall 27th and 174th respectively, as well as 25th and 13th in their respective categories.
Terblanche crossed the line in a time of 5:45:20, while Jordaan recorded a time of 8:08:04.
“This really is an extraordinary effort and bodes well for races like the Absa Cape Epic, where our goal is to win the Exarro category and achieve a top-40 finish,” said team manager Chris Norton.
