One of Middelvlei Wines’ popular events, Burgers and Beats, returns on Saturday 7 December, with live entertainment by duo James Stewart and John Ellis.
As lead singers of their respective bands, the vocalists rose to fame in the 1990s, and their collective talents of their interpretations of some of their favourite songs add to the ingredients for a perfect night out under a starlit sky.
Ellis was the former lead singer of internationally acclaimed band Tree63, and multi-Emmy nominated and multi-South African Music Award-winning Stewart is the former frontman of The Usual
Sit back, relax and enjoy a bit of the farm lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of the Stellenbosch nightlife. Wine plays the starring role, but for their meals, guests will enjoy a delicious home-made beef cheeseburger, served with chips and a glass of Middelvlei wine, while being kept entertained.
The cost per person is R360. Children under 12 years only pay R90 for a hamburger, chips and juice. Groups of 10 adults or more will qualify for a 10% discount when booking.
