A new-look tasting room awaits guests at Neil Ellis Wines in Stellenbosch, following months of refurbishment to the popular venue.

The reopening also coincides with the launch of a fresh culinary offering designed to take guests on a global sensory journey – perfectly paired with its celebrated portfolio of wines.

This reimagined look reflects Neil Ellis Wines’ continued commitment to innovation and excellence. The refreshed space blends contemporary design with the estate’s signature warmth, creating a destination where guests can linger, discover, and connect.

GLOBAL INSPIRATION

“Our vision was to create more than just a tasting room – we wanted to craft a space where wine and food come together in harmony,” explains Grethe Kruger, chief operating officer of Neil Ellis Wines.

“The new restaurant menu draws inspiration from global cuisine, carefully curated to complement the unique character of each Neil Ellis wine.”

Guests can look forward to a culinary experience featuring seasonal dishes influenced by world flavours, thoughtfully plated to elevate the wine pairing journey. Each menu item has been designed in collaboration with the winemaking team, ensuring the perfect balance between food and wine.

The Neil Ellis Wines tasting room is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00. Patrons wishing to visit the restaurant can do so seven days a week between 11:00 and 16:30.
