e’Bosch, a unique organisation synonymous with heritage and the town of Stellenbosch, is calling on the broader community to identify and nominate individuals and organisations worthy of receiving recognition at a special function this month (September).
Most residents of the town and surrounding area should already be aware of the inspiring work of e’Bosch over the last 11 years. It aims to promote relations between all residents of the greater Stellenbosch area, encourage people to appreciate and preserve their own culture and respect the culture, customs, language and views of others.
e’Bosch honours a handful of residents for their contributions to the promotion of culture, its preservation and raising awareness of the importance of heritage in the respective communities and especially among the youth, every year.
To do so, e’Bosch calls on the community to identify and nominate such individuals and organisations whose life and work over a long period have made a positive difference in terms of heritage conservation in their own or any other community for the 2022 awards.
The awards will be presented by Stellenbosch Mayor Advocate Gesie van Deventer and Stellenbosch University Rector Wim de Villiers at a special function on Wednesday 28 September.
. Nomination forms can be requested from Carol Lakay via email on carol@ebosch.co.za or Whatsapp on 079 857 5158. All nominations must be submitted before next Wednesday (7 September).
