Join the search for Pniël’s most talented young people when the Pniël Heritage and Cultural Trust (PHCT) will host the Show us your talent show at the Pniël Congregational Church Hall on 16 June.

Those attending can look forward to a night of pure entertainment when local artists will get the chance to showcase their talent.

Joined by the local performers are the talented and well-known Cape Town musician Jitsvinger and singer and Arendsvlei actor Whaden Johannes.

Jitsvinger is an Afrikaaps (Afrikaans with local Cape Town dialect) vernacular performer who combines Hip Hop, poetry, self-composed music, theatre and storytelling.

Jitsvinger’s art of spoken word and poetry, along with his unique music style, became the catalyst for his ongoing work in education and social programmes. Rooted in social awareness, Jitsvinger has facilitated music, creative writing and poetry workshops with youth in high school and tertiary institutions, prisons, museums and non-governmental organisations.

Johannes is a singer, songwriter and entertainer from Mamre. He is known for his role as Priester in Arendsvlei but has been gracing the stages of theatres for years. He is currently a vocal and drama coach at Liron School of Arts, full time performer and production assistant with ATKV in Stellenbosch.

Show us your talent starts at 19:00 and tickets costs R10. For more information WhatsApp Janine Myburgh at 072 245 1415 or Edward Ontong at 081 311 7539.
