The under-19B and under-19C water-polo teams of Paul Roos Gymnasium (PRG) participated in the 2025 Standard Bank Pearson 2nd Team Water Polo Tournament in Gqeberha at the weekend. The under-19B team (pictured) advanced to the semi-finals, after securing five victories, but fell short with a 3-7 defeat against Bishops in the semi-final. The team went on to play in the third-fourth play-off, claiming a hard fought 5-4 victory over Wynberg Boys’ High School. Meanwhile, the under-19C team ended 12th overall, with two victories and five losses throughout the tournament. Kaid October, a member of the under-19B team, was named Rising Star of the Tournament.
