The first Fynbos 5-miler (8,04 km) was held this past Saturday (13 September) with fun had by all participants. According to Stellenbosch ward councillor Annemarie Ferns the event is set to become an annual event. Among the runners on the day were a few famous residents such as South African long-distance runner Elana Meyer (centre). She is flanked by Ferns and mayor Jeremy Fasser.
