Stellenbosch FC marked the end of the 2024-’25 soccer season with the club’s annual awards evening at Allée Bleue in Franschhoek, where forward Fawaaz Basadien led the list of those honoured.

He walked away with both the Footballer of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards after enjoying a standout campaign across the domestic Betway Premiership and continental CAF Confederation Cup.

Forward Devin Titus took home the Golden Boot award after scoring 13 times across all competitions, while midfielder Sihle Nduli was voted as the Rama Fans Player of the Season. Captain and goalkeeper Sage Stephens claimed the Sportsman of the Year award and midfielder Ibraheem Jabaar was named Young Player of the Season.

For the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) side, forward Faiz Abrahams received the coveted DDC Footballer of the season award, while striker Cheswyn Philander claimed the DDC Golden Boot award and defender Simthandile Sishi received the DDC Sportsman of the Year award. The CEO’s Award went to administrative assistant Ghouwa Manuel.
