The Rhenish Girls’ High 1st hockey team had an excellent season. They won first place in the All Girls’ Tournament, third in the Cape Town International Tournament, came first in the Investec u-19 Tournament, fourth in the FNB Super 12 Top Schools’ Tournament, named top team in the Western Cape, and winners of the Boland Cup. Many individual members of the team also achieved Boland colours, and Julia Robb was selected for the SA u-18B side.
