The Change of Season Trail Run, presented by Sportsmans Warehouse, will be held at Knorhoek Wine Estate this Sunday (28 August). There are two distances from which to choose, so the whole family can join in on a lovely morning run. The routes have special Dirtopia single-track through forest and various other terrain in the Knorhoek valley below Simonsberg mountain. Registration starts at 07:30, the 11 km run starts at 08:30 and the 6 km at 08:45. Pre-entries can be done online at www.dirtpass.co.za until midnight today (Thursday 25 August), and late entries will be be taken at an additional fee on race day. Online entry costs R145 for the 6 km and R175 for the 11 km, while children under 18 pay R60. Runners can choose to be timed by tags, which can be rented for R20 or bought on race day for R100. A refreshment station will have beverages and finishers will receive medals. There will also be a lucky draw.
