Mountain bikers can now enter the Savanna Origin of Trails event, which will be held at Coetzenburg on the Stellenbosch University campus, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November.
The individual two-day stage race’s routes highlights the beauty and splendour of Stellenbosch.
Riders can have their pick between the full marathon and half marathon events at R1 600 and R1 400 per rider respectively.
The entry fee includes entry into two pre-event warm up rides, an exclusive rider jersey if you enter and pay by Monday 31 October, an exclusive finisher tee, finisher medal, free massages, access to world class routes, spectacular on route experience, a light breakfast with coffee and lunch on both days, complimentary drinks and refreshments, well stocked water points, live entertainment and much more.
The full marathon comprises distances of about 45 km on day one and 48 km the second day. In the half marathon, riders will tackle routes of about 29 km on the first day and 31 km the second.
