IsiXhosa Oratory Teachers’ Conference: (from left) Renée Geustyn (Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof), Yumna Edries (ENS Africa), Atang Maphaka (Curro Century City), Kamva Mangxa (Apex Stellenbosch), Nwabisa Godongwana (Apex Stellenbosch), Christine Canaris (Paul Roos Gymnasium), Rorisang Sethathi (Apex High) and Monelwa Manjiya-Mboma (Springfield Convent). Discussions covered rubrics, rules and logistics for the main Masithethe! IsiXhosa Oratory event, to be held at Paul Roos Gymnasium on Saturday 24 August, with a new Training and Judging guide forthcoming. Learner entries are now open for those eager to showcase their oratory skills.
