The hockey, netball and tennis teams of Rhenish Girls’ High School participated in the National All Girls Festival, hosted by High School for Girls Potchefstroom, from Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 May. The Rhenish hockey team (pictured) claimed the silver medal, falling agonisingly short of gold after a 2-3 penalty shoot-out defeat to Afrikaans Hoër Meisieskool Pretoria in the final. The hockey girls were unbeaten in the pool and knockout stages.

The Rhenish netball team (pictured) was also unbeaten in the pool and knockout stages of the festival, going on to face Afrikaans Hoër Meisieskool Pretoria in the final. Here they were pipped at the post, losing 15-21 to claim the silver medal.

The Rhenish tennis players (from left) Jenna Petripher, Katrien Booysen, Lisa-Marie du Toit, Jenna Theron and Christie Kotze also won silver after they lost 3-0 to C&N Sekondêre Meisieskool Oranje in the final. The tennis team also recorded a flawless run to the final.
