After two rounds of gruelling provincial trials, two Rhenishers – Pètra de Beer (left) and Léa van der Merwe (right) – have been selected for the Western Cape Debating Squad that will participate in the South African National Schools Debating Championship, which will be held in December in person for the first time since 2019.
