Stellenbosch muso Tebogo Louw will be the opening act for Zolani Mahola and The Feminine Force at the inaugural Hazendal Festival: SOIL Edition on Saturday 5 October from 21:00 to 22:30. The festival runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 October and is dedicated to soil, life-fostering organic material. The line-up includes a sculpture commission, live interventions, art installations, film screenings, wine tasting, a symposium, workshops, family-friendly activities, live music and much more. Louw has been making waves on the South African music scene since the start of his professional career in 2010. He competed in South African Idols in 2014 and 2015, reaching the top 30 both times. In 2016 he advanced to the top 3 of the television show. The talented musician is a self-taught guitarist and pianist.
