She completed an honours degree (cum laude) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2000, and is currently a curriculum innovation leader at St Mary’s School in Waverley, Johannesburg.

Her strong academic background and five years devoted to running her own consultancy, which served clients such as Deloitte, Absa, Sars, Standard Bank, BMW, SAB, DStv, Momentum and Brandhouse, gives her considerable expertise and experience in developing people and teams.

Its significant focus is on helping them manage change and to take ownership of their development. Searle, who is fluent in Japanese, is happily married to husband Russell and is a mother of three children, who will all attend Somerset College next year.
