For Ethan Davids, a talented young cricketer from Pniël, there is nothing better than hearing the sound of a cricket ball hitting the wicket. The 14-year-old is a member of Spes Bona Cricket Club, where he truly found the love of a cricketing family. The medium-pace bowler, who has played a number of games for the club’s senior first team, is eager to learn. He says he has learnt discipline and respect for team sport. The Kylemore High School learner has a true love for the gentleman’s game and encourages other youth to take up the sport.
